Bihar (बिहार in Devanagri) is a state situated in the eastern part of India. Its capital is Patna. The name Bihar is a corruption of Vihara which means a Buddhist monastery. It is bordered on the north by the Kingdom of Nepal. It is surrounded on its west, south, and east sides by the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and West Bengal, respectively. Bihar lies in the very fertile Gangetic plains, and is part of the Hindi-speaking heartland of India.

Thums up. Patna
A picture taken in Patna, the capital of the state of Bihar. Temperature was going up very fast,
and this rickshaw driver was having a well earned rest. Difficult light that day.
"Thums" Up is a national drink, with a taste close to the one of Coke, a bit better for me and a lot cheaper..
Patna is a very interesting town with no tourists at all, so it's really quiet for us travelling there..
