Bihar (बिहार in Devanagri) is a state situated in the eastern part of India. Its capital is Patna. The name Bihar is a corruption of Vihara which means a Buddhist monastery. It is bordered on the north by the Kingdom of Nepal. It is surrounded on its west, south, and east sides by the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and West Bengal, respectively. Bihar lies in the very fertile Gangetic plains, and is part of the Hindi-speaking heartland of India.

Deep inside. Patna
Portrait of the previous woman you see going away from the river Ganges.
I was walking alongside the Ganges in Patna, where all the women were doing their laundry..
That one was a bit curious about the camera... She came to look inside..
Another nice moment. Patna in the state of Bihar is a very friendly city.

Generally, in Bihar people are more friendly than other parts of the country. They want to impress others by any way.
And their hospitality is amazing. They'll go out of their way to entertain a guest as we Indians treat our guests as Gods.
